FISCAL POLICY

  • IGV (General Sales Tax) Exemption Law
  • Guests who present a passport or foreign identity document along with their immigration card are exempt from paying the 18% IGV (General Sales Tax). However, Peruvian citizens residing in Peru must pay this tax, which will be charged at the hotel front desk.
  • IGV exemption as a tourism incentive for foreign guests and Peruvian non-residents staying in Peru for a period of no more than 60 days (Legislative Decree 919).
  • The hotel will take a credit card deposit for 100% of the stay prior to the arrival date. The hotel may also use the Link Payment system (upon prior coordination with the Reservations Department), and the amount indicated in the confirmation will be in US dollars according to the reference value published on OANDA.com, which is used to convert different currencies worldwide pursuant to the agreement between OANDA.com and TravelClick.com. In Peru, at the time of payment, the hotel will apply the reference exchange rate of the day. These rates will be updated according to market fluctuations.

 

CANCELLATION POLICIES

  • A reservation may be cancelled or modified as long as it is done at least 48 hours prior to check-in. If this deadline is not met, charges for the cancelled rooms and nights within the 48 hours prior to the cancellation date will be applied as a penalty to the card provided as a guarantee. In case the guest does not show up at the hotel (No-show) without prior notice, 100% of the stay plus taxes and service charges will be automatically charged to the card provided as a guarantee. The room will be held until 12:00 noon the following day, even if the reservation was made for more than one night.

 

NO-SHOW POLICY

  • Please be advised that No-Show charges (penalty for not showing up at the hotel on the day of the reservation without prior notice, or for not cancelling it within the timeframe established by the policy) will require the issuance of the corresponding tax receipt/invoice, which includes the total amount of the reservation, the applicable charges, and statutory taxes.

 

MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION

  • Any change, modification, or cancellation of this reservation must be made through the same channel in which the reservation was confirmed. Changes through any other means will not be accepted.

 

AIRPORT–HOTEL–AIRPORT TRANSFER

  • Shared transfer service (airport – hotel – airport) must be arranged at least 48 hours prior to arrival at the hotel due to limited seating capacity.
  • Only at Costa del Sol Wyndham Lima Airport (hotel located at the former airport) does the transfer service not require prior coordination, as it operates with departures every 30 minutes.
  • Valid only for: Tumbes, Piura, Chiclayo, Trujillo Golf, Trujillo Centro, Cajamarca, Arequipa, Lima Airport, and Pucallpa.

 

GUARANTEE POLICY

  • A credit card guarantee is required for reservations. Please provide a valid card number, expiration date, and security code. If the card number provided is not valid or does not allow the guarantee to be processed, the reservation will be automatically cancelled without prior notice to the guest.

 

CHILDREN POLICY

  • Minors under 18 may only enter the premises when accompanied by one or both parents, a legal guardian, or a duly accredited responsible adult. Otherwise, they must present a notarized authorization, in accordance with Law No. 30802.
  • Children up to 11 years old will stay free of charge sharing a bed with one or two adults; only the breakfast cost applies, and the price varies depending on the selected hotel.
  • From 12 years old onward, children are considered adults and an additional person fee applies.
  • Only at our airport hotels, Costa del Sol Wyndham Lima Airport and Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol Lima Airport, guests are considered children up to 17 years old and may stay free of charge sharing a bed with one or two adults; only the breakfast cost applies, and the price varies depending on the selected hotel.
  • It is necessary to present the National ID (DNI) of all room occupants and a notarized authorization when applicable.
  • Law No. 30802: The entry of children and adolescents into the rooms of the lodging establishment must be in the company of one or both parents, guardian, or responsible adult, duly accredited by the competent authority, or with documentation proving the judicial or legal relationship that exists between them, or otherwise with a lodging authorization granted in writing and with the signature notarized.

 

DOG-FRIENDLY POLICY

  • Dog-friendly reservations (pets: dogs only) must be made through the Reservations Department with our agents. Please indicate the dog’s breed, weight, and name.
  • Reservations must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Applies to selected room types.
  • Only one dog per room is allowed, with a maximum weight of 18 kg.
  • Potentially dangerous breeds are not permitted, such as American Pitbull, Fila Brasileiro, Japanese Tosa, Bullmastiff, Doberman, and Rottweiler, or any other breed stipulated in Peruvian legislation.
  • The fee to accommodate your pet is US$ 38.00 (plus taxes) per night. The fee covers only your pet’s stay and does not cover any damages the pet may cause to the hotel, its guests or visitors, nor any cleaning expenses that may be required.

ONLINE PAYMENT CONFIRMATION

  • The service amount displayed during the purchase process includes only the accommodation rate plus a 10% service charge.
  • If the guest is Peruvian or domiciled in Peru, they must pay the IGV tax (18% of the subtotal) directly at the hotel, which will be additional to the concepts indicated above.

 

GENERAL POLICIES:

  • Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all hotel areas as the hotels are 100% non-smoking. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a penalty of US$200.00, taxes included.
  • The hotel does not guarantee that rooms will be available before the stated arrival time. Likewise, guests must vacate the room at the indicated time on the day of departure unless previously coordinated with the hotel front desk.
  • If you wish to enter the room before check-in time or leave the room after check-out time, the following will apply:
    • Early check-in (arrival before the agreed time): 50% of the room rate + taxes (subject to availability).
    • Late check-out (departure after the agreed time): 50% of the room price + taxes (subject to availability).
  • A reservation is only considered cancelled once cancellation confirmation has been received from the Reservations Department. If there is no cancellation request and confirmation response, the No-Show charge will be applied.
  • Please note that if you cancel a reservation within the established period (48 hours or more prior to the check-in date), a refund may be issued. This transaction generates bank fees which must be assumed by the guest.

30-MINUTE MASSAGES – WYNDHAM GRAND

  • The benefit applies only to confirmed reservations made through the Costa del Sol website.
  • The relaxing service consists of a 30-minute session and includes a relaxing full-body massage,
    focused on the neck, back, and shoulders. (More details)
  • The benefit is personal and non-transferable and applies per room, per stay, regardless of the number of nights, and is valid exclusively for one (1) person per reservation.
  • The service is subject to prior reservation, availability, and the schedules established by the hotel’s spa area during the guest’s stay.
  • The benefit cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or active benefits.
  • The service cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for other services.
  • If not used during the stay, the benefit will be considered consumed, with no right to a refund, compensation, or rescheduling after departure.
  • The hotel reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the benefit and its terms and conditions without prior notice.
  • Applies only to the RROD (Bed & Breakfast) rate.
