The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Peru: Driving Regional and Economic Integration.
Peru becomes for the third time the epicenter of economic dialogue and regional cooperation during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). After hosting in 2008 and 2016, once again it will be several days where leaders and delegations from the world’s most dynamic economies will meet to discuss crucial issues affecting the Asia-Pacific region and the world in general.
Our already well-known country, as hosts of such a great event, is responsible for organizing 160 meetings from the end of 2023 and during the current year 2024. These events will contribute to the post-pandemic economic reactivation and will bring great income opportunities for the hotel sector, tourism, food, transportation, among others.
Thanks to this forum, Peru is once again a showcase for the world, connecting us with large markets, promoting opportunities for sustainable development in the country and promoting the development of social diplomacy to face different challenges through economic and technical cooperation.
