Miraflores District
- City Hall
The City Hall was designed by the architect Luis Miroquesada Garland, his construction began on December 31, 1941 and the President of Peru in that time, Jose Pardo Ugarteche, put the first stone. At the top of the building, and as a symbol of union between Peruvian people, there are 24 shields engraved that represent the 24 departments or states of the country.
- The Parish Church
Before it was known as the old church San Miguel de Miraflores, but it was modernized as a beautiful piece of architectural style by the architect Ricardo de Jaxa Malachowski. It has beautiful stained-glass windows that represent Jesus’ life and also images from the saints Santa Rosa de Lima and San Martin de Porras.
- Larcomar Mall
It has a variety of restaurants, stores, a food court, ice-cream parlor, bowling alley, electronic games, nightclubs, bars and movie theater.
- Beaches
There are 8 traditional beaches in Miraflores: Las Pieditas, La Estrella, Redondo, Makaha, Waikki, La Pampilla, Punta Roquitas and Los Delfines.
